7月份AP（Advanced Placement，即美国大学先修课程）成绩出来以后，不少孩子同时还收到了荣获AP学者奖（AP Scholar）的通知。AP学者奖是美国大学委员会（American College Board）颁发给在AP考试中取得优异成绩的考生，以表彰他们的杰出学术成就。获奖者虽没有奖金，但是会收到获奖证书，并在学生送交各大学申请资料中包括的AP成绩报告中体现。学生可将获奖经历写入大学申请资料和未来的简历，增强竞争力和录取机率。因此可以说，AP学者奖是申请美国大学的学生必不可少的奖项之一。

AP Scholar
AP学者奖
Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.
要求：学生通过三门或以上AP考试，得分在3分或3分以上
AP Scholar with Honor
AP荣誉学者奖
Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
要求：平均分3.25以上（所有AP考试），同时要求至少有4门课程3分或以上
AP Scholar with Distinction
AP特级学者奖
Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
要去：平均分3.5 以上（所有AP考试），同时要求至少有5门课程3分或以上
State AP Scholar
AP州立学者奖
Granted to the one male and one female student in each U.S. state and the District of Columbia with scores of 3 or higher on the greatest number of AP Exams, and then the highest average score (at least 3.5) on all AP Exams taken.
要求：美国各州和哥伦比亚特区的一名男生和一名女生在最多的AP考试中得分为3分或更高，并且所有AP考试的平均分数最高(至少3.5分)。
National AP Scholar

Granted to students in the United States who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams.

National AP Scholar (Canada)
AP国家学者奖（加拿大）
Granted to students in Canada who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on five or more of these exams.

National AP Scholar (Bermuda)
AP国家学者奖（百慕大）
Granted to students in Bermuda who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on five or more of these exams.

DoDEA AP Scholar
AP国防部学者奖
Granted to the one male and one female student attending Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools with the highest average score on the greatest number of AP Exams. The minimum requirement is a score of 3 or higher on three exams.
奖给参加过国防教育部（DoDEA）学校的一名男生和一名女生在最多的AP考试的平均分数最高。最低要求：至少3门考试达到3分及以上。
International AP Scholar
AP国际学者奖
Granted to the one male and one female student attending a school outside the United States and Canada that is not a DoDEA school with the highest average score on the greatest number of AP Exams. The minimum requirement is a score of 3 or higher on three exams.
奖给不在美国和加拿大以及未参加过国防教育部（DoDEA）学校的一名男生和一名女生在最多的 AP考试的平均分数最高。最低要求：至少3门考试达到3分及以上。
考生报考的所有科目的AP考试成绩，无论是否在同一年内，均会被纳入平均分计算之内。如果同一门课进行了多次考试，则只计算最好的一次成绩。微积分BC中包含的微积分AB部分（如果单独报考微积分AB，成绩可以纳入计算），以及音乐理论的聆听/非聆听子学科不纳入AP学者奖计算之内。
考生必须满足所有评选标准方可获奖。在奖项公布之后，获奖的学生可以在网上下载获奖证书。
